All the Founder's Men
On the eve of the mid-term elections, I'm watching All the President's Men and 1776. One about the founding of our nation, set to music as all history should be; the other a document of one of our darkest days, with better looks.
I won't be voting, as I don't enjoy my constitutional right to representation (which lately seems a blessing.) You know who to vote for .... and against. So be late for work; be late for happy hour; avoid going home for an extra hour. Do your patriotic duty. Piss off an evangelical. Show the adminstration that you will do what you can to at least impede the onslaught of theocratic, autocratic, Yossarian-ian, hypocritcal, sons of bitches. Make your mother happy. And a founding father.

Hey Elizabeth,
I think it stinks that the citizens of DC have no representation in Congress. You all should protest every day until you get it! Maybe you could just become part of Maryland. Goin back to NOLA in Jan with some folks from home.
Take it easy
Richard
